Life Before Death?

One of my favorite questions for myself is this: Will I remember 'this' on my deathbed? Suddenly life is put into perspective. If the 'this' is insignificant, then I have to wonder if it is worth getting all worked up about. If the 'this' is profound (even if simple), then it gets my attention.

It has taken me a week to even begin this blog entry. Yes, a whole week! What could be so profound, so life changing that it would take me a week to even sit down and write about it?

Death-or in my case, near-death. I believe that everything happens for a reason. I now question my beliefs, my attitudes and most certainly my values. Have you ever thought about the impact death has on your own life?
